"The Art Of War" In Lithium Race: China Starts Building Its Largest Electric Car Solar Charging Complex.

   


  China excels even itself with the latest deals in UK. Learn "The Art Of War" in action. While David Cameron is busy killing Solar and brings China to build Nuclear Reactors in the UK, Chinese are very smartly moving into the exactly opposite direction. They are buying what others are selling and selling what others are stupidly buying. If you missed it: China has installed more Solar Power generation capacity in 2014 alone than U.S. during the all its history! It is all part of the state-level plan to move into the post carbon society with another "Great Leap Forward" leapfrogging the Internal Combustion Engine Technology directly into Lithium EV space on the backs of the myopic politicians in the West. Domination in Lithium materials and lithium batteries markets is the part of this plan, China already controls 75% of Lithium Hydroxide, which goes into Tesla Batteries. Security of Lithium supply is the centrepiece of this master plan.

  After very lengthy negotiations our Team at ILC has made another major transaction with Ganfeng Lithium - 1.2 Billion dollars market cap giant from China. Now we do not have hanging over our heads short term debt. We have established the long term credit facility with Ganfeng to finance our part of exploration costs on Mariana Lithium project with the maturity in 2024! Access to the capital in our sector will separate winners from the rest of the lithium racers. Now the project is ready for the major advance stage.   With all Volkswagen and DieselGate news shattering Europe, it comes as no surprise that electrification of our transportation is the only commercially viable way forward - as you already know, in my personal opinion. LG Chem was very quick to announce the Lithium Battery plant to be build in Europe. I am calling on Tesla to bring its next Gigafactory to Ireland with its great corporate tax incentives, highly educated competitive work force and very competent government which is ready to propel its economy into the post carbon world.   "China is rising and it has the military plan to build electric cars as strategic industry. It is great … for China, but what about us? Now David Cameron is supporting Nuclear plants to be built by China in the UK and cutting Solar subsidies. Yes, stupidity is without boarders or party limits. Mark my words: it will be another one as "Clean Diesel" which was made by Labor. But "Clean Nuclear" made by Tories can be even more damaging. Just check the latest news on cancer rates from Fukushima. They have swept it under the rug already! 
  Two Solar companies have gone bust already in the UK with thousands of workers on the streets now. Before this shameful myopic disgrace on the part of David Cameron UK Solar Power was growing fastest in Europe. I will extend my brave experiment with ultimate emissions test to Nuclear Power vs Solar as well. I will stay with Solar Panels and politicians should go into the Nuclear Reactor Room. First step to recovery is to stop BS ourselves.

  Do you know that Lithium Battery was developed in the West? It was commercialised by SONY in 80s and now South Korea is the leading manufacturer with Samsung and LG Chem. But China already controls 75% of Lithium Hydroxide which goes into Tesla batteries and they are moving very fast with their own Megafactories to rival Tesla with its Gigafactory to produce lithium batteries on the mass scale. 
  The pain is coming, you can't stop it. Internal Combustion Engines (ICE) will be dying with Fossil Fuels. It is just the law of nature. Electric Cars are better and they will become cheaper as well  very soon. We can make it as a pain of growth, but who will make it?  All these jobs for The Next Industrial rEVolution could be here, not just going again to China. Germany with its brilliant engineers can produce lithium batteries and electric cars and it can happen in every country. China Starts Building Its Largest Electric Car Solar Charging Complex.




The official Xinhua agency said (link in Chinese) Beijing has put 15 million yuan (US$2.36 million) toward building the complex, which is expected to be operational by the end of the year.
It will have 30 fast-charge points, capable of charging a car to full power within 40 minutes, and 20 slow-charge points that will charge a car in two hours.
The complex, located at Shijingshan District, is a joint venture between Shougang Corporation, one of China's largest steel companies, and Tellus Power, which manufactures electric vehicle charging stations.
However, with inconsistent standards for electric vehicles, not every make is compatible with the new stations. Reports say only cars from Chinese makers and the two domestic joint ventures with Japanese and European makers qualify.
As with the cars supported in the recent Shanghai-Beijing project, we expect these refer to cars from Chinese makers BAIC Motor and BYD; German firm Daimler and BYD's joint venture, Denza; and those from Japan's Nissan and China's Dongfeng joint venture.
The Shanghai-Beijing project was completed in January this year, which saw China line the 1,260 km (783 mile) route between Beijing and Shanghai with 50 fast-charging stations.
Support for domestic vehicles leaves companies like Tesla out of the picture.
Tesla chief Elon Musk said in April 2014 at the start of Tesla shipping its cars to China that he was bullish about the market there, and had partnered with Chinese power company Hanenergy to start building supercharger stations in Beijing and Shanghai.
But by January this year Musk admitted that sales were not as great as he had hoped. One of those problems was charging compatibility — Tesla requires car owners to install Tesla's charging units, and some properties don't allow people to install these, forcing some to cancel their Tesla orders.
German maker BMW also started building electric stations in Shanghai last year, to accommodate its electric cars in the country.
China has made large investments in solar power and electric vehicles, as it tries to combat emissions on the road and its heavy reliance on coal-based power.
In July, it started constructing its largest solar power plant in the Gobi desert across 6,301 acres, capable of supplying power to 1 million households."
